Safe Zone Overlays

Platform-specific safe zone guides for 11 ad platforms — ensure text and logos stay visible across placements.

01

11 Platform Definitions

Safe zone definitions for Meta Feed, Meta Stories, Meta Reels, Instagram Feed, Google Display, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Snapchat, TikTok, and Pinterest. Each definition specifies the percentage-based safe area where text and logos will not be obscured by platform UI elements like profile headers, engagement buttons, or swipe-up indicators.

02

SVG Overlay

Safe zones render as a semi-transparent SVG overlay on the artboard at z-index 9992 — above all layers but below the UI controls. The danger zone is shaded while the safe area is clear, giving an instant visual indication of where to keep important content. Toggle the overlay on and off from the editor toolbar.

03

Active Zone Selection

Select the active safe zone from a dropdown in the toolbar. When designing for Meta Stories, select the Stories safe zone to see exactly where the profile header and CTA button will overlap your creative. Switch zones as you work across different placements to verify each one.

04

Design Confidence

Safe zones eliminate the guesswork of "will my headline be cut off on Stories?" or "does the logo overlap with the YouTube skip button?" By making platform constraints visible during design, you catch placement issues before export rather than discovering them after launch when budget has already been spent.
